About this Course

Celebrate the longest night of the year and the return of the sun at WB Parks! ***Please note: this event has been moved indoors due to weather. *** In light of the weather forecast predicting rain and icy trail conditions and to ensure the safety and comfort of all our attendees, we have made the decision to proactively modify the event. This allows us to guarantee the celebration will still take place, rain or shine! The most important change is that the outdoor trail experience has been eliminated. Instead, we are bringing all the magic and fun of the Winter Solstice inside the warm, cozy Recreation Activities Center (RAC). What to expect: Live Animal Encounters with Avian Experience. Nature Crafts in the Nature Room (make your glowing craft to take home!). Cozy Treats and Drinks A Special Indoor Education Station with the Oakland Astronomy Club And Nature Education Stations led by our Naturalists
